I set up 'THE GOLDEN BONE' dog training & behaviour school to be able to enlighten people in how they can live a happy and balanced life between themsleves and their dog(s). That by setting rules and boundaries to all members of the houshold including the beloved furry ones, that peace can truly happen.
My training is based on educating dogs about their manners within the masters home and out in society. After all, all of us some time in our lives have learnt our manners and how to act around family & socitey so why should the dog not recieve the same great gift in life.
I must point out at this point that I am not a 'old school' dog trainer and I do not believe in physically or mentally harming any dog in the pursuit of education. All my training techinques are based on Postive and Negative Assocative learning, which is the natural way that all animals learn things throughout their lives.
Qualifications
* Certificate in Animal Care (City & Guilds)
* Certificate from the London Academy of Grooming - International Training School for Canine Beauticians
* N.A.S.D.U Safe Handling Techniques Certificate - (National Association of Security Dog Users)
* Certificate in Canine Behaviour & Psychology - I.A.C.E (Institute for Animal Care Education)
As well as the above qualifications I am currently doing my Level One with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training, which is the only university course in dog training and behaviour in the UK.
As well as the knowlege and skills gained from the above qualifications, I have also had the following experiences:
* Living with dogs for 23 years
* Personally training my own, families, & friends dogs for the last 8 years.
* Kennel Maid
* Student dog training assistant.
* Running my own Dog Grooming business for the last 5 years. |
