I started grooming ten years ago as a part of my Certificate in Animal Care. Since then I have taken a 4 month intensive hands-on grooming course with a world famous, award winning groomer and I have run my own grooming parlour for the last 5 Years.
Even though I am focusing my main efforts towards making a dog feel good about themselves through training, I also still enjoy making the dog feel good about themselves on the outside too. So if your dog requires a tidy up or a complete makeover then I am here for them. 

I offer a full range of dog grooming services including:

HAND STRIPPING: This is where coarse/wire hair is removed from the dogs coat by using a stripping knife, to leave a short smooth tidy finish. This does not cause any pain or discomfort for the dog but can cause slight redness to the skin so is always followed up with a soothing shower in warm water.
Although Hand Stripping can be done to a range of different coat textures I only do it to a coarse/wire coat. 
 
PET TRIM: A pet trim is not the same as styling, it is where the dog is either clipped or thined (scissored) down to leave a clean tidy managable (not sheered off) coat for an owner to be able to maintain between grooming sessions.
 
FULL SCISSOR: A full scissor is when no clipping is envolved and the whole of the dogs coat needs to be styled by using scissors. Breeds that are very popular for this are Poodles and Bichon Frise (unless pet trimmed).
 
BATH & DRY ONLY: This is what it says really, except your dog will be brushed through to remove any knots before bathing and Drying.
 
FLEA SHAMPOOING: At the end of your dogs normal shampooing I can add an additional flea shampoo to help get rid of any unwanted guests, for a small extra charge. However if I find any unwanted guests on your dog then I will use the flea shampoo to get rid of them and you will be charged for this. I will also give you a phone call before treatment to let you know and to give you advance warning to treat your home.

EXTRA: The only extra charge that maybe placed on top of these services is a Matting Charge. This is where a dog has become matted solid in some areas of the body and will require extra time to tackle.
